I got accosted by one of those GreenPeace street people today in Asheville.
Ok... I wasn't ACCOSTED. (I don't even know what "accosted" means.) He was actually a very nice person.
But I did get confronted, stopped, "guilted" and pitched on saving the Rain Forest.
Don't get me wrong here. I support sustaining the rainforests, but I don't know that the tactics that Green Peace uses are "peaceful", which to me creates a conflict in my brain. The word "peace" to me is at ease, neutral, no opinion either way, ok with where and how things are, in harmony.
So... I guess I was a bit taken back as this young Green Peace advocate was explaining how their process works by hanging banners on buildin ...
